Great video! What would you recommend to do first if the skin has been placed in the freezer with the flesh still on?
I can do this… I can do this..
😳
Can we use an electric sander and then a hot iron to loosen the fibers?
Drove from Adelaide to Coober Pedy last week. You see hips of roos and emus on the side of the road. You did an awesome job. Thanks for sharing. Could you please do the same thing with an emu ?
Awesome video! When I hunt I usually take the back legs and shoulder don't field dress the whole animal. I always end up with a lot of hair on the legs and shoulders which is annoying to be plucked out. Any tips on minimising the contact with the hair on the meat? I don't mind a few hairs on it but when it's covered that's no good ha takes me ages to pull them away before storing meat. Thanks a lot!
Evil.momster!
Wonderful animal
Should you use the brine solution even if the hides weren’t frozen to kill off bacteria?
I have no sound. Does he mention what knife he’s using?
Grate video
hey there with the pickling do i just mix the first 4L with hot water, with the citric acid and salt, the add more when its cold as i might need for then 4L
also i cant find any of you fb or ig pages
I’m so thankful for your videos. They’re informative and no sugar coating. Also, seeing you give that experience to your son is inspiring!
Hey! I know this is an old video but I’m curious. Is it the norm to just harvest the legs and dispose of the rest of the carcass?
Howdy HuntShack, there’s some synergy between our channels, so I thought I’d drop you a line. We mention your Field Dressing a Roo in this video. I hope you don’t mind. ua-cam.com/video/_oASScWTU2A/v-deo.htmlsi=IEF0ivpEyipsQr-r
realizing im a pussy just now :(
Absolute mint video thankyou !!
All right, a real review, thank you! Im leaning towards the iv for a new rifle. Watching vids to see the truth of it. I hope you have done one with a look thru the glass. I want to see! New sub, Thanks!
Can you guys do more vids of hunting roos pls
I hated my Burris Eliminator 6. Cause I can't find out my ammo "Hornady precision Hunter ELD-X 7mm PRC" from CARTRIDGE list. So Disappointed ! Waste my money! 🤑
Good to see the young fella having fun.
Thankyou
I'm glad you got the young ones around, kids now days need to learn this stuff more then what gender they can be 😂
Showing my mate videos (never been shooting before).
Bicarbonate soda 1 tsp per kilo max Use the low heat setting bruv. It’s biltong not heating jerky on high
Questions for you ... I currently have two hides in the freezer and have been planning to flesh and salt these. Do you recommend doing this before the process explained in the video? or that an entirely separate process? Otherwise, very thorough process that I'd like to use to ensure my hides come out right!
Nice..
i'm shocked you didn't take the liver!
I want to start to get into hunting and harvesting, don’t having anyway to get a start right now, trying to make a friend who can introduce me to all of it any tips and advice on how I could get started on this journey? Also fantastic video!
does the pressure washer work with cow hides? i tried with mine but it doesn't do much to flesh it. am i doing something wrong?
I miss new stuff from your family. I hope you're doing well.
Lol where I hunt I would be afraid someone would take me out carrying like that. I would have to wrap the whole thing in hunter orange
Yep--especially if bending forwards in low scrub.
Sleeves are unfortunately ridiculously long
You get right to it.
Hello everyone does someone used this scope with a thermal device on him im interested to buy this scope but i want to use somethime with a thermal device’s on him. Thanks an excuse me for my English i have not used him a long time ago 😊
Great video Thanks
I looked up kangaroo skin how to. To see if it is close to a human and I got to admit ehhh. But also it’s cool to see how different countries or cultures or families field dress animals
If when you skin, you use your hand rather than a knife and dont pull any meat off, does the skin still need to be fleshed? As in, is there a membrane of sorts that still needs removing?
Hold up well? Still using them? Might get for my mrs
Great rifle, the only downside is that it only has a „ 2 way safety“,…what do you think?
Idk, it feels like, you butchering a human!!
Puedo dar fe que es un estafador, le vi por webcam y es hombre que quiere sacar dinero. De verdad estuve hablando con el y es muy estafador, cuidado mujeres con el
Hi Jess, can I ask what the purpose of the tanning formula is? Is it a necessity vs just using oil? Also, I'm in the US and can't find the Leder formula/oil here. Have any other recommendation?
this is handy, still very much learning how to hunt and it sucks cos we don't have as big of a hunting culture here so its much harder to learn
Where is the country of manufacture for this Burris Signature HD spotter? Is it Japan, USA, or China?
Thank you so much I’m doing a goat skin and this video has gave me way more of a idea on what to do! Thanks
wow parter youre good! you make it look so easy! nice knife - i like how you just used the one lnife the entire process - for me id have to use like 5 of them
also, you are making BILTONG , not pickled meat ... those Aussies 😄 See ya at the Rugby 🏴☠
the dryer is to hot, to much heat too quickly - I'm sure what you get is really tasty - Biltong it ain't, mate.
Stingy on the spices, but interesting - aussie way, try making it the SOUTH AFRICAN way instead . Bingo on the never enough coriander - you should toast your spices, by the way 🙂
How do you dispatch your goats?
Great Job , I am impressed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
